That's a good question, what I'm thinking is that, we'll have a thread opened every month to prove that you have improved and you are ready for the promotion.

I have a suggestion, why don't we put them to the test by watching their performance in pub servers? Aleast 3 MVP scores in a row to become promoted?

That won't mean they are automatically promoted, but it will give them a chance to prove themselves in a pug.

Yups, I guess so. Also, we should also figure out our class specializations. Having watching them play means we could also examine their playing style and most-frequented class

Try out demoman or medic, those are super important classes.

Didn't they made pyro more powerfull, yeah the fire is less powerfull and the duration is less. Pyro now can instead be more stable against solly or demos with their reflect delay cut off by 25%. I'm having a hard time timing my rocket now with pyros around. Neutral

I got around pretty easily ( a bit ), even with the Pyro Update. What I did, I made the Pyro think I was going to fire my rocket now instead of later. I wait till I get within medium range of him, he still thinks I'm going to fire. Then I switch to the shotgun and blast the hell out of his face. I call it 'mind-over-matter' now, because this has turned into a deadly mind game, where the loser dies.

On 2Fort, since the number of dedicated Pyros has increased dramatically, it IS harder to fight against the pyro head-on. I focus on trying to get closer and closer and closer to the pyro before I fire, it gives the pyro less time to reflect, since I'm right in front of him and I haven't gotten off a shot yet. Very Happy

You know its so funny when you meet a pyro and he stands still waiting to airblast your rockets Razz

Then you just shock him with a couple of well aimed shot gun blasts and 1 rocket as he tries to retreat.
And most pyros have the flare gun equipped so they are quite useless at anything but close range. Oh and the majority can't use the compression blast properly anyway.

hahaha, yeahh... And when they turn their back to you in hopes of successfully getting health, you blow them to smithereens... Very Happy

YES. My ping just totally kills me... I don't see any way of fixing this, aside from letting time pass... :/
