Dwarf Fortress.

Its like minecraft with slightly crappier grapics.
But you also need a degree and a LotR size guidebook to actually play the darn game.
I mean, look at this.

Tell me you can make sense of that and I will personally come to your house and kill you for lieing.

And the game's motto? "Remember: Losing is Fun."
I would lose but i cant actually figure out how to screw myself over because i cant figure out how to do anything besides mine into a mountain, build random stuffs and chop down trees.
Now who will be the brave sole to join me in this neverending hellhole joyous adventure?
Oh and building took me 2 hours to figure out, and even then it made no sense.
Someone tell me that they know how to play this game.

Use k to see what each letter is. That's how you learn the ASCII symbols. If you really can't handle it, you can use May Mayday's tileset.

But of course, DF is best played in it's original ASCII tileset. I stopped playing this after all my dwarves kept getting eaten alive by carps while crossing the river. Ultimate ragequit.
